How do U feel about the USgov distorting science studies (eg GW) to fit the ideology of Bush43 & his buddies?

Comment on the counter-argument pattern of certain Answers. The defense of bad behaviors by one brat pointing to the bad behaviors of others, does not logically invalidate or excuse the behavior of the brats under scrutiny.
My Q has nothing to do with Gore, or the IPCC, and any such finger-pointing is outside the subject of the Q asked. Such A’s are non-sequitors or worse, an effort to taint the Q hoping to discredit the Q. Efforts to “poison the well” by injecting ad hominems as Answers is infantile, perhaps motivated by the prevailing policies of an anti-intellectual pathological ideology inspired by an incompetent, ignorant, mediocre cowboyish President on the way out.
