School Science Projects

for kids in grade 5th and 6th for a my daughter.She needs a good subject to work on.

How important is all of education?
This is for a science project.

I have to have an idea of a science fair project by halloween. Our school has a prestigious science department and, for better or worse, it is mandatory that I enter due to the fact that I’m in Honors Chemistry. I have never participated in a science fair before and our instructor says that it can’t be a project that has been done a million times in the past unless there is an original spin on it. If you do give me an idea, please include instructions as well. Thanks.

I’m looking for stuff that’s not about plants or anything that has to do with plants too.

My daughter chose “Will saltwater evaporate faster than water w/out salt?” and my son chose “How does exercise affect the human heart rate?”

My problem is that research needs to be looked up and since I’ve very little education, it’s extremely hard for me to help them.

Please have mercy on me and kindly leave me ideas on how to help my kids or direct me to any websites that may give me as much information that is easy for me to understand and explain to my kids.

By the way they’re both in special educatioon classes so now you understand how much harder this subject is for me.

I have to do a science project with 15 2nd graders and I am not sure what I should do…it could be on anything (please remember that these are 7-8 year old kids). Thanks!

I need something really soon. I want something that’s high school level but also fun and nonstressing. Nothing too complicated or hard.

My sister has a masters in library science that she never used, and now she has gotten a job teaching art,( I guess this degree was good enough for them,) she is artistically inclined and a very nice person, but has never taught before.
