School Science Projects

If it’s to get kids more interested in science, I can say from personal experience, it doesn’t work. Myself and all my classmates from 1st grade up until 12th dreaded the science fair. I especially hated how much time and effort I put into coming up with an idea, doing the experiment, putting together the board, etc, only to get a “Honorable Mention” (which they give everyone who participates) every year.

I am now a second grade teacher and I still dread having to put together a science fair project for the whole class.

I have a science project due in May,(i think) my 6th grade teacher told me i can do an expirement on her kids.And that’s what I wanna do.Any help?Im in seventh grade.
