It’s for my kids science project

this is for a kids science project we used four kinds of salt, epsom, sea salt, kosher salt, regular salt to see which would form a bigger crystal, our results were sea salt made the biggest crystal. How do i explain why?

im babysitting for a 15 month old, a 5 almost 6 year old, and theres one in the middle, i think he might be 4 or something. what is a good science project for them? the oldest one is really smart and likes science and can read at a 3rd grade level, so something thats fun for them, easy for me, and will involve all the munchkins! thanks SOOOOO much!!!!!!!!<3333
