School Science Projects

I’ve got an assignment to write 4 pages on the above question. This is for chemistry class. I thought if I’d search it online I’d find a long list of answers. However, they only show how to make a science project [for kids] to show how a thermometer works. Please help me find some information on it. Post links if possible. Thanks

My science fair project deals with testing kids’ heart rate while playing violent video games. I need to write up the materials I need for this project.
I need a heart rate monitor, a few violent video games, a game console, pencil, paper…etc.

What else do I need/or should include in my list.

Hi, I’m the kid who basically leaves everything to the last minute. My science fair project is due in 3 days and I have no idea what to do. I’m in 8th grade and like video games (espescially rock band 2) and music. If you have any suggestions please post them. Thanks for the help!

It is my 1st time doing a science fair project and I need help my science question is “Do younger kids comprehend better with Fiction or Non-Fiction?”…Ideas.

for science my teacher told me to bring up a subject in a scientific method plz help me chose …what question do u have that could be answerd in a scientific method this is not so hard for u older kids but for me ya it is… im only 12 6th grade ”HELP” TEN POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER PROMISE .

My 9 year old son has a science project to do. he just needs to make something that can read weather. like temp, wind, rain something along those lines. does anyone have any suggestions.

A very common science project for young kids is making a volcano out of cardboard and using baking soda to make it erupt.

But what is this teaching the kids? And in what way is it science?

This is NOT how a real volcano erupts. It does not model a real volcano in any way. It does not demonstrate any geology or siesmology. It does not use the scientific method to investigate anything. It seems to me that this is just an art project. Why do so many teachers allow it to be called “science”?
